Training Location: Oregon State University Mechanical, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering Program
The OSU School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering (MIME) comprises about 40 full-time faculty members and instructors, about 20 staff members and research associates, around 120 graduate students, and 900+ undergraduates. They offer programs that lead to BS, MS, MEng, and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering; BS, MS, and PhD degrees in industrial engineering; BS degree in manufacturing engineering; and MS and PhD degrees in materials science. Fields of specialization within the mechanical engineering program include design/mechanics, dynamics and control, materials, and thermal-fluid sciences. Within the industrial and manufacturing engineering programs, fields of specialization include manufacturing systems, information systems, and human systems engineering and nano/micro fabrication.
